Vintage Sumi Cluj Romania Reticulated Porcelain Trinket Dish 3.5" Signed Nilas

This is a stunning example of fine European porcelain craftsmanship from the late 20th Century (circa late 1970s–1990s). This miniature reticulated (openwork) trinket dish or individual bonbon basket was crafted by the Sumi Porcelain Manufactory in the historic ceramic hub of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This delicate piece features an intricate, hand-woven interlocking lattice rim finished with an intact 24k gold gilded edge. The center features a vibrant, hand-painted floral motif. Factory Stamp: The blue oval ink stamp reads Porcelain Sumi Manufactory | Cluj Romania | Hand Modelled, confirming its export-quality origin and manual assembly. Artist Signature: Hand-signed in overglaze paint by the studio's decorator, Nilaș. While its small diameter matches the footprint of a vintage butter pat, its pierced lattice design categorizes this piece as a luxury individual nut dish, wedding mint basket, vanity trinket bowl, or a high-end cabinet display piece. Diameter: 3.5'' Depth/Height: 0.75'' Condition: Excellent, Collector-Grade Vintage Condition. No chips or cracks. Glaze has no crazing. The hand-painted florals are completely intact and vibrant. The gold trim around the rim shows no visible wear. Packaged with care and shipped quickly.
