Description
Vintage PYREX Flameware Range Top Clear Glass Double Boiler Three-Piece Set Pre-owned double boiler is in very good, vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. The stainless steel bands do show some scratching on their interior side which I assume is from deep cleaning. There is a bubble and a scar on the lid, but it is in the glass, not on the surface (see photo). Vintage Pyrex double boilers (specifically the clear Flameware models) are safe for use on gas and smooth electric cooktops. For exposed electric coil burners, you should use a metal wire grid or heat diffuser. They are not compatible with induction stoves. See photos for all measurements. Orders ship on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
