This is a beautiful jacket and skirt set made from crepe fabric with a unique textured feel. The set features a sophisticated navy base with an elegant Japanese pattern woven with purple and turquoise, creating an air of refined adult elegance. The material is 100% polyester, which is wrinkle-resistant and has a smooth feel. Made in Japan with careful attention to detail, the quality of the sewing is evident. The jacket has decorative covered buttons made from the same fabric and is a buttonless design. The skirt has elastic on both sides of the waist for a comfortable fit. The sleeves are unlined. The shoulder pads are attached with thread and can be easily removed if desired. While there are no stains or damage such as fraying, and the item appears to be in beautiful condition, this is a vintage item. There is some discoloration on the waist hardware (hook and eye closure) of the skirt due to age. This is not visible when worn, but please be sure to check the photos (photo 15).
