Antique Czech Bohemian Art Glass Cased Ruffled Vase Pink Opaline Polished Pontil

Stunning antique Bohemian art glass vase, hand-blown in Czechoslovakia during the early interwar period (circa 1919-1925). This striking piece features an opaque white opaline glass body expertly cased with a vibrant, deep rose-pink interior layer that dramatically flares out at the rim  This vase features a beautifully executed, smooth ground and polished pontil scar on the base. Crucially, the bottom retains a highly desirable fragment of its original red-and-white striped Czechoslovakian paper export label. This sticker fragment securely dates the piece to the immediate post-WWI era and definitively distinguishes its superior European craftsmanship from mid-century American lookalikes.  Design & Craftsmanship  The vase showcases exceptional hand-blown artistry with a bulbous, jacketed form that tapers elegantly before exploding into an intricate, heavily hand-crimped, pulled ruffle rim. The tight, star-burst pattern of the crimping and the rich saturation of the cased glass are hallmarks of historic Bohemian export glassworks such as Franz Welz and Harrach.  Condition  Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or internal bruising. The glass remains brilliantly clear with vivid color retention. The hand-crimped ruffles are entirely intact. Normal, light shelf wear on the ground base ring consistent with a century of age.
