Vera Neumann
ITEM - Vera Neumann Signed Vtg Tablecloth 2 Napkins Set Black Red Poinsettia MCM 49x52 Brand: Vera (Neumann) signature printed directly into the design Era: Mid-Century Modern (circa 1960s). Vera Neumann registered her trademark copyright in 1959 and the lowercase script and copyright symbol dates this between 1959 and the early 1960s. By the mid-60s the lucky ladybug symbol was added along with the signature on many home linens but is not included on this tablecloth which narrows the date to 1959 - early 1960s. Pattern: Stylized red poinsettias and green ivy on a black background. Christmas, Holiday, Festive Material: Original tags are missing. I believe this is a cotton or cotton blend. It has a crisp feel and a heavy weight structure to the fabric weave. Set Includes: 1 x Square Tablecloth (52 x 49) 2 x Matching Napkins (17 x 17) Condition: Very Good Condition. Sourced from a vintage linens estate sale; appears unused. Fabric is a heavy, structured textured cotton or cotton blend with exceptionally vibrant holiday colors. Clean and free of stains, holes, or major flaws. May show minimal light surface wear consistent with long-term storage. Vera Neumann believed art should be lived with, not just hung on a wall. Consider other unique ways to highlight Vera's art or create your own display. Chic Tree Skirt, Holiday Buffet / Bar Cart Backdrop, Textile Wall Hanging clamped to a wooden dowel Thank you!
