Tarmo Maaronen Fiskars
175.00 $
Description
Beautiful mouth-blown art glass bird figurine from the renowned Bianco Blu glass studio in Fiskars, Finland. This collectible piece was designed and individually hand-shaped by master glassblower Tarmo Maaronen. The design features a stunning, rich translucent cobalt blue lower body adorned with a tightly clustered multi-tonal speckled back. The clear glass casing masterfully forms the alert head, beak, and distinct ridges running along the fan-shaped tail feathering. Excellent vintage condition with zero chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs. The base safely retains its original paper studio label and features a distinct freehand hand-etched script signature T. Maaronen carved directly into the bare glass border. Please see the close-up macro photos to verify authenticity markings. Note: As an individually hand-sculpted piece of studio glass, minor internal bubbles or slight pattern variations are part of the authentic glassblowing process.
