This is a reason for discount Apple Pencil (2nd generation).
It was stored with very little opportunity for use.
The reason for the discount is that a very small amount of red pen ink has adhered to the tail end of the pencil (see 3rd photo) at some point, and it has been difficult to remove even after washing with dish soap.
I was concerned about scratching the main body if I scrubbed too hard, so I've left it as is for now.
Also, I recently upgraded from an iPad mini 6 to an iPad mini 7. Due to specifications, this Apple Pencil (2nd generation) cannot charge with the iPad mini 7. Therefore, please understand that this item is currently listed without being able to charge.
As mentioned, it was stored with very little opportunity for use after purchase, so it should definitely function normally after charging.
