An exceptional and highly collectible pair of CHANEL Mademoiselle earrings dating to approximately the late 1970s–early 1980s — now more than four decades old. Each features a beautifully sculpted Coco figure in her signature hat and tailored jacket, framed by an intricate twisted-rope border. The dimensional relief and rich gold-plated finish capture the bold glamour of early CHANEL costume jewelry. The reverse of each earring retains its original oval CHANEL cartouche, stamped CHANEL with the interlocking CC logo and MADE IN FRANCE — an important period detail particularly desirable to collectors of vintage CHANEL jewelry. Both original clip mechanisms remain intact. Rare, substantial and beautifully preserved in Excellent Used Condition (EUC), especially impressive given their age.
