Vintage Benrus Art Deco Tonneau Mechanical Watch Small Seconds Working

Beautiful vintage Benrus manual-wind wristwatch featuring a distinctive stepped tonneau-shaped gold-tone case, warm champagne/salmon dial, stylized Arabic numerals, blued-tone hands and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock.  The watch is currently working and running when wound. Crown winds the movement and the hands set properly. Case shows scratches, surface wear and areas of finish wear consistent with age. Dial has attractive vintage patina and some spotting/discoloration. Crystal shows light scratches. Please review all photos closely for cosmetic condition.  Watch is currently running, but accuracy, power reserve and service history have not been tested. As with any vintage mechanical watch, future servicing may be required.  A handsome and unusual early Benrus with strong period styling and an especially attractive stepped case.
