Botanical Porcelain Pink Gold Gilt Floral Scalloped Cabinet Plate Cottage 9"

Antique porcelain square trinket dish or cabinet plate by Sampson Bridgwood & Son, c. 1870 - 1890. It showcases a delicate botanical illustration of wildflowers, including daisies and thistles, in a soft palette of pink, blue, and sage green. The plate features a unique octagon edge with four raised pink corners and a hand-painted gold gilt rim. A fine example of late 19th-century aesthetic movement ceramics, this piece displays intricate line work and subtle raised enamel details on the flower petals. The underside bears a faint blue maker's mark and an impressed numerical stamp, characteristic of fine European porcelain houses. Measurements: • Width: 9 • Length: 9
