Vintage Italian Marquetry Reuge Swiss Music Jewelry Box Inlaid Wood AS-IS NR

Beautiful vintage Italian marquetry jewelry box featuring an elegant bird and scrolling floral inlay design with a high-gloss finish. This keepsake box is fitted with a genuine Reuge Swiss musical movement and is marked Made in Italy.  The interior is lined in rich red velvet with a divided compartment for jewelry, watches, or treasured keepsakes.  The movement is labeled to play Gavotte by J.S. Bach. The mechanism winds normally but does not play, and the box has not been opened or repaired. It is being sold as-is for restoration, repair, display, or parts.  The exterior marquetry remains attractive with only light vintage wear consistent with age. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
