Vintage Mele Earring Jewelry Box Organizer Holder MCM Hard Shell Travel Case

This is a vintage mid-century travel earring organizer case manufactured by the historic brand Mele & Co.. Primarily produced during the 1950s and 1960s, these clamshell hard-shell cases were specifically designed to keep earrings secure and organized on vanity dressers or travel. The signature MELE logo is clearly stamped in gold lettering on the right side of the inner satin lid. This case features distinct rows of scalloped, bright blue velour/velvet slots. The rows contain small pre-punched holes specifically engineered to hold stud, screwback, or clip-on earrings neatly in place. Built as a structured rectangular hardshell case with gold-tone metal trim and hinges, the exterior wrap is a fabric or vinyl brocade pattern. In very good vintage pre-owned condition. No stains or blemishes.
