1947 Rookwood Pottery Celadon Green Ombre Slender Neck Vase 778 Mid Century‎

Manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio, this 1947 Rookwood Pottery slender neck vase (shape 778) is a beautiful example of the company's post-war mid-century modern aesthetic. The smooth high-gloss glaze features a subtle ombre gradation, shifting from a light sage on the shoulders to a deep celadon green on the base and neck. The underside is fully marked with the 14-flame RP logo, XLVII date code, and shape number. Measurements: • Height: 9.25 • Width: 4.25 The high-gloss glaze is in excellent condition with a brilliant shine and no chips, cracks, or restorations. The unglazed base ring displays typical, very light shelf contact wear. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home. ## Rookwood Pottery, 1947 Art Pottery, Celadon Green, Slender Neck Vase, Rookwood 778, Mid Century Modern, Cincinnati Ohio, Ombre Gloss Glaze, Collectible Clay, Retro Flower Vase ##
