RARE Kenneth Jay Lane Raw Crystal Quartz Vintage Y Necklace on Silver Tone Chain

Normally KJL worked with Lucite and glass but sometimes he worked with semiprecious stones as is the case with this piece. This is a substantial chunky real raw crystal quartz necklace. If you look closely at the stones you can see the natural inclusions of organic material embedded inside the crystals. The crystals have been tumbled for a smooth finish. It drapes beautifully in a tiered Y shaped pattern on a strong silver tone chain with hook clasp. Signed Kenneth Lane on the cartouche. There are very few natural stone pieces by KJL on the market but they do exist and have been sold by reputable auctioneers.
