Antique Limoges French Porcelain‎ Double Spoon Rest Signed Bernardaud Butterfly

Signed-is a stunning, one-of-a-kind antique French porcelain double spoon rest plate featuring a beautiful, delicate butterfly motif. This piece beautifully bridges elite historic French manufacturing with early 20th-century American amateur studio artistry. Features the green underglaze factory stamp B & Co / Limoges / France on the base, used by the legendary L. Bernardaud & Co. factory between 1900 and 1927.   Hand-signed on the bottom by the hobbyist china painter, Lucile Bennett. Lucile purchased this premium white porcelain factory blank from France and expertly hand-decorated it herself.  The interior is iridescent lusterware glaze that catches a pearlescent, rainbow-like shimmer in natural light.   Great vintage/antique condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
