Description
Vtg Lodge #5 cast iron skillet from the 1960s. Double pour spout, notched fire ring on bottom. The SK marking indicates skillet and became standard in the early 1960s. The number 5 signifies an 8-inch diameter. It features a three-notch design, which Lodge phased out in the late 1970s for smoother designs. The D is a molder's mark. This specific style, with the SK and Made in USA markings, was produced to meet export regulations around 1962–1965. See pics of bottom rust.
